Love you
be content with all you do.
See the good in you,
be true!

Love me,
love you,
do you?
This is all I want for you!

If you are content with yourself,
enjoy being yourself,
then less problems for me,
you see?

Love my black man, woman
glad to have my skin tan.
Enjoy receiving love
from above.
Knowing when to give,
and when to shove.

Push away blues,
and people who use, abuse
and choose
to be something
they weren't never meant to be.

Forgot to look in the mirror and say,
"Love me" today, so I pray.
Hoping that the Divine One
will show me the way!

Bad stuff will always be around,
but you don't have to get down.
See the love in your own hometown!

Between the cries, lies, and sighs,
there is no love that dies, it thrives!

Love found me, I didn't chase it.
Love rescued me when I didn't want it.
Some just sit, throw fits, won't commit.

Still angry about the past,
cursing a future saying, "It won't last."
Some moving way, way too fast!

Love starts with loving you,
then loving me,
remember, love is free!
Then see your future,
for what it could be.
