Helpful Resources for Family and Friends who Received Vaccines
Information has been suppressed regarding the sheer number of lawsuits that have been filed due to vaccine injuries and mandates forcing employees to get the vaccines or else lose their jobs.
The following links are not personal commentary, mainstream news sensational reporting, or information that only speaks about the benefits and not the risks of getting vaccines.
We thank all parties who were kind enough to educate the public on their findings and share people's experiences since taking the vaccines. Click the links for the articles and sources.

Threatening, Controlling Folks and the Family Who Loves Them
The mentally ill just can't help themselves. The more they reason, "I'm okay, it's them!" the sicker they are. The evidence of their sickness shows up in eyes, a walk, a talk, a bank account, a one night stand, in the household, at the church and even on the job that someone we love is just not well. All some relatives and friends know how to do is make excuses for the mentally and physically ill, while talking about what they wish they could do or what they think "The Problem" should do.
When one's demons has riddled a troubled mind, there is no reasoning. He is going to fight you when you say, "You are sick and you need to get help!" She is going to rationalize that what she is doing to herself and family is really not bothering anyone. The sick will place the blame on the accuser, "It's because of you I'm this way...if it wasn't for...maybe none of this would have happened." If the mentally troubled isn't blaming, they are pretending that everything is okay and "don't worry about it. You got other people and things to be concerned about, I'm good." Really!?
Loved ones will stick it out with the physically abusive, mentally controlling, verbally assaulting, and the motor mouth talking, because "I love him, things will get better. I know she can be bad, but that's my girl. We've been through worse." But there comes a point in any relationship where the hand-holding, sexing, excuse-making, and everything else has to stop. Even the God above will tell you, "Stop, there is nothing else you can do." When the writing is on the wall, one had better listen unless he or she wants to hit rock bottom too.
Energy sappers will suck the life out of you, pull you and everything connected to you down in the hole with them. Before long, you have little money to take care of your own family, you owe far too many creditors, you find yourself avoiding certain people for fear that someone else's issues might become yours, all the while trying to persuade yourself that things will get better when deep inside we know they won't remain that way for long.
When you finally awake to the nightmare of a troubled loved one and realize that you can't run anymore, that is when you attempt to awaken others, but enablers don't want to hear it. People who justify every wrong, help relatives and friends kill relationships, self and so on--while exaggerating the few nice things that a problematic relative does--will not face the fact that someone in the family has major issues that need to be dealt with or else. The key is making that "or else" real and handling that "what will happen if I don't" rebuttal that the mentally ill like to throwback.

Celebrities are a Distraction from the Health News that Really Matters
Stop by these sites and be enlightened on some issues you may not have thought about and could be very well contributing to you or a loved one's health issues. Let's stop making excuses and face the truth! Look at the troubling issues within and around you. Take your clothes off, look in the mirror. Check your habits. Compare yourself (or think of others) from back in the day with the one (or people) now--what do you see? The more people get, the more people want and when trouble comes, they play dumb, look the other way, go on the attack, or use cute phrases like "it is what it is" to dismiss fact.

Greasy Foods - The Holy Grail Of African American Diet
Yes, I know you are salivating right about now. Here is another past time favorite to which I am sure you can relate - deep fried catfish, red beans and rice soaked in oil, candied yams with tons of butter, sugar, and cinnamon and deep fried pork chops.
I can relate. I grew up in a family of 9 where food portions were humongous. I mean we are talking about a 9-year-old whose plate was filled to the edges that was even too much for an adult! Years later, with the same poor dietary habits intact, I ballooned up to 213 pounds!
My Food History Repeated Itself
So there I was 20 years later weighing 185 pounds. I thought I could control it. The smallest I had ever been was 140 pounds. But my weight went up and down my whole life. Finally, I crossed the line where I could not stop eating. I was addicted to fried foods, white flour and sugar, but I did not know that until 3 more years of food agony and an additional weight gain of 18 pounds.
My Health Deteriorated
I come from a long line of strokes, heart attacks, diabetes and high blood pressure. At age 29, severely overweight and a heavy smoker, I was headed down the same path as my ancestors.
My Aha Moment
There was a voice inside me that said, "Shalisha, you are lost when it comes to food. Get help." I did. I was introduced to a food plan that was abundant, healthy, delicious, and made me lose 90 pounds in 6 months. This was no diet. It was a lifestyle change. So here are the top 5 reasons I think the African American diet is in dire need of an overhaul:
1.The African American diet is extremely high in fat
2.The African American diet is extremely high in sugar
3.The African American diet lacks fruit
4.The African American diet lacks vegetables
5.The African American diet is extremely high in sodium
If you want to start eating healthy and lose weight:
1.Stop deep frying and start broiling
2.Cut out sugar and white flour
3.Include at least 5 servings of vegetables daily
4.Include at least 3 servings of fruit daily
5.Drink plenty of water (8-12 cups)
6.Take the salt shaker off the table
One more thing - dare to be different! Demand that your neighborhood Key Food supermarket carry Fage Fat-Free Greek Yogurt. Demand that your friendly neighborhood Met Food supermarket carry organic fruits and vegetables.
All it takes is one person to lead the way. Be a power of example and show other African Americans in the community that it is not only okay to eat healthy - it is a matter of life and death. By making those 6 small dietary adjustments, you will go a long way to improving your health and losing weight.

Is It A Fact That African American Men At More Risk From Prostate Cancer Than White Men?
Statistics show that African American men are at greater risk of dying from prostate cancer than white men and the majority of statisticians agree that the risk in the case of black men is approximately two and a half times that of white men. But, are these statistics misleading?
The answer might come from a study conducted not long ago in North Carolina. The study involved some 253 white men and 84 black men between the ages of 40 and 75 who were diagnosed with prostate cancer between 2001 and 2004.
The study examined a number of factors including employment, screening history, access to care, symptoms, the existence of other medical conditions, attitudes towards health care and health care providers, family history, treatment, income and whether or not the men had health insurance.
The study discovered that 55 percent of the black men earned under $40,000 annually in comparison to to 23 percent for white men. The study also showed that black men were more likely to be educated to a lower standard, to have a blue-collar job, to have co-existing medical problems and to be unemployed as a result of illness or disability.
In addition the study showed that just 3 percent of white men did not have medical insurance, in comparison to 8 percent of black men and that just over 30 percent of white men has some type of supplemental Medicare coverage, in comparison to 17 percent of black men.
One especially interesting finding was the fact that both groups were well informed about the risks of prostrate cancer and the requirement for treatment, although the black men accepted greater responsibility for their own health and were less likely to trust their doctors. In fact many of the black men said that they were mistrustful of their doctors and felt that any advice given was more likely to be influenced by the cost of treatment than patient needs.
On the important question of screening, black men were less likely to have regular check-ups, digital rectal examinations or prostate specific antigen (PSA) tests. It was also interesting to note that the study reported that black men were more than twice as likely to have to request a PSA test than white men.
The study makes it clear that there is a marked different between the two groups which lies in the lack of early detection in black men and that this arises to a large degree from the fact that they do not have established relationships with their doctors, have poor access to affordable and convenient care and do not carry adequate health insurance.
Obviously it is not easy to assign numbers to a study of this nature and further, and bigger, studies need to be conducted to quantify the differences between black men and white men. Nevertheless, it would seem that much of the difference does not stem from the fact that black men are more likely to develop prostate cancer but lies in the fact that they are more likely to die as a result of the disease because of its late detection.
If the gap between black men and white men in terms of the provision of healthcare were closed the figures could well look quite different.
