Bad, Black Attitude

Said there was something wrong with us--
got off the black bus.

Nasty attitude,
this man can be so rude!

Critical of others,
hanging out with frat brothers.

Smiles on their faces,
shares their disgraces,
frequents white places.

He curses when he's mad,
his children look so sad,
he runs around in the latest fad.

Bad, black attitude,
what's up with this angry dude?
Took after his mother,
puts on a show for Big Brother.

Know what I know,
because I peeped his show.
Try to go toe to toe,
looked like a brotha on the down low!

I wish I could speak positively,
but what comes out is negativity.

Bad, black attitude don't get you very far,
you can't be a star,
people don't want you in their car.

If I told him once, I told him twice,
you have to be nice,
to get cheese from the mice.
